These are huge bulbs, generally 2 bulbs are close to half pound, so we may add some loose cloves to make weight. A long storing porcelain hardneck garlic, like so many great garlics, comes from the Republic of Georgia.. The bulbs have large, easy to peel cloves with about 4-5 per each bulb. The taste is hot and pungent with a considerable bite. Speaking of bite, if you have vampire problems, this is the one for you. Studies have shown that Romanian has some of the highest levels of Allicin. Requires that cold weather to really thrive.
