Red Ambition Shallot Sets for Spring Planting

These hardy sets are planted in the Spring for fall harvest.  (Approx. 25 bulbs per lb)  Each individual bulb will create 6-8 shallots or approximately 150 plants per 1 lb. planted. 1 1/2-2 in. globe shape with reddish copper skin. Red Ambition shallots have an honored place in any fine chef's repertoires, these sweet little beauties will begin to replace your love for the common onion!  They respond well to much of the same practices we use to grow garlic.
