Alberta Rose is a gorgeous glazed purple stripe variety we found at the Nelson, BC farmers market. It's flavor is long-lasting, strong, but not very hot, and leaves no after taste. It has spectacular stripes with satiny paper tinted with silver and gold, making the deep purple clove wrappers stand out. A gorgeous garlic that yields about 10-15 cloves per bulb.
